It is a very exciting experience to watch a racehorse – part of which you own - run at a famous race track. Being a member of a horse racing club, partnership or syndicate and going to the races is a great fun social occasion. Champagne in the directors suite for the winning connections – the elation of being in the winners enclosure – talking to the jockey  - and the joy of watching the recorded re-run with friends at home afterwards.

Of course, very few racehorses make it to the top of their class. Nothing in life is certain but there is every chance that the foals out of Material World could be equally as outstanding as she has been. They will certainly attract attention. Although there will always be exceptions, good pedigree is a major factor in producing star quality as is often emphasised by TV horse racing commentators, horse racing newspaper editors and bloodstock auctioneers.
