Material World

Welcome to the official website for Material World(GB)

Jumping The brave one-eyed Material World (whose stable name is ‘Daisy’) has been and is an inspiration to all who know her and follow her progress. She is a shining example to all that, with courage and determination, a physical disability is not necessarily a barrier to achieving great success.

If you are interested in her progress as a broodmare and following the progress of her foals then please register for free with the fan club.

The first born in 2009 is Ollie and he is now officially named Material Star, was sired by the dual Ascot Gold Cup winner and top British jumps stallion, Kayf Tara, is owned by the 'Material World Racing Club' who enjoy watching him develop as well as having regular fun social events. For further information on Ollie and the racing club activities please see www.ollies-world.com

The second foal sired by Shirocco (click here) born at 00.45 hrs on the 3rd February 2011 is a lovely bay filly 'Millie' now with her official name of Storm Patrol.
With the sire winning the German Derby, Italian Derby, Breeder’s Cup Turf in America, Coronation Cup at Epsom (beating Ouija Board) and earning over £1.3m in prize money, this filly is going to be watched with great interest. Several of Shirocco's first offspring are proving with success on the track in Group and Listed races that they need to be treated with respect. If you would like to be part of an exciting new racing partnership called 'Storm Force Ten' for the racing career of the very well bred Storm Patrol then please contact Robin directly for the latest information (please use link from Contacts Page).

Material World is in foal to one of the top proven jumps stallions, Oscar, which has sired numerous champions including current runners Big Zeb, Peddlar's Cross and Oscar Whisky. Those interested in future offspring out of this great mare please contact Robin Smith direct either by email or telephone for the latest information. Otherwise please join the fan club to receive updates.
